The world today has turned so self-centered and materialistic that moral value inculcation has become a major concern for every parent and teacher alike.

Thus keeping in mind today's changing scenario and a need for spiritually conscious young minds the " Carmel Treasure Retreat" was held in MIS for the students of std 10 during the school hours. It was a day's session spent fruitfully and meaningfully by the students. The purpose behind this session was to let the students carry with them the Carmel values to help shape their future as they move out of the institution.

The programme included meditation, short videos, singing songs and activities related to the sessions. The examplary lives of great personalities who accepted
failure and came out successfully were illustrated to the children.

The students found this experience very fulfilling and invigorating. The Retreat was conducted to bring out a transformation in the outlook of the students towards courageously facing the challenges of life and equip them for the future with Carmel values as the backbone.

On the whole it was an enriching experience for the students as they step ahead in creating a promising future for The resource persons for the session were Sr Betsy AC and Mrs. Shirley, who are the trained personnel for Carmel Treasures Retreat.
