2024-25

A guided nature walk in Lalbagh was organised for the teachers and the alumni by the Alumni Core Committee Members fostering a sense of community and shared passion for nature.

Mrs. Kavya Chandrashekhar took the initiative to invite enthusiastic bird watchers Mrs. Santhoshi, Mrs. Reshma, Mr. Vara Prasad and Mr. Vinay Sathyanarayan.

The experienced bird watchers shared their expertise with the participants pointing out various bird species and sharing interesting facts about their habitats and behaviours. Throughout the walk, participants were encouraged to observe and appreciate the natural beauty around them.

A single tree hosting multiple species of birds, a dried and dead tree trunk teeming with insects, birds and tortoises highlighted the importance of preserving natural habitats and ecosystems.

The event was a resounding success with all participants expressing their enthusiasm and gratitude for their experience.
