An insightful session was conducted on road safety by Mrs. D M Manjula, Adugodi Traffic Police Constable.
The session focused on the importance of responsible driving and adhering to traffic rules to prevent accidents and ensure safety on the roads.
The officer emphasized the crucial role of wearing helmets while riding two-wheelers, bicycles, citing statistics on the alarming number of head injuries and fatalities caused by helmet-less riding. She also stressed the importance of starting journeys early to avoid the need to rush, jump signals, or engage in reckless racing.
Additionally, the officer highlighted the dangers of performing wheelies and stunts on public roads, which can put not only the rider but also other road users at risk. She encouraged all participants to be mindful of their actions on the road and to prioritize safety above all else.
