The 76th Republic Day Celebration began with a beautiful prayer song invoking God's presence on the gathering and thanking the Almighty for the beautiful country that we live in.
The parade was a visual treat led by the School Head Girl, Vice Head Girl, Sports Captain, Vice Sports Captain and each squad led by their Captain and Vice Captain, marching in perfect formation waving flag and expressing their love for the country. It was a proud moment for both the participants and the spectators as it perfectly embodied the spirit of Republic Day.
One of the most spectacular highlights of the celebration was the performance by the school band. Their performance added a sense of grandeur and pride to the occasion.
The Chief Guest of the day, Sr. Celine Vera, the Joint Secretary of Mary Immaculate Institutions, accompanied by Sr. Sevika, the Headmistress of Mary Immaculate High School, Sr. Vinitha, the Vice Principal, Sr Philomene, the Primary School Coordinator and Mrs. Pushpa, PTA Vice President hoisted the National Flag, a symbol of our freedom and sovereignty.

Sr. Celine Vera in her message congratulated and appreciated Sr. Vinitha, Mrs. Monica Jennifer, Mrs. Febita, Mrs. Lalitha and Mrs. Roshiny for the wonderful programme. In her address, Sister reiterated the values of Democracy, Justice, Equality and Fraternity that our constitution upholds.
The MCs of the day were Safaa Muzamil and Faiza Anam Shaik of Std7. Nudinayana C welcomed the august gathering and vote of thanks was proposed by Atika Shehzeen of Std 7.
