2021-22

“A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way.”

13th August 2021 was a red letter day for the cabinet leaders as they took oath to perform to the best of their abilities.

The prayer service began with a praise and worship song by Sowmya and Abiya, followed by Bible reading by Akshaya and prayer by Dhruthi. A prayer dance was performed by Srihitha Reddy K, Saanvi S Gowda , Janitha J, Jeslin Mercy V, Kruthika K and Laksha R.

Sr. Ida Barboza, Joint Secretary Managing Committee Mary Immaculate Institutions, Sr. Rosevera, senior teachers, Mrs. Maria Frederick, Mrs. Margaret Joseph,  Mrs. Shantha Mary and the School Pupil leader Tanusha S Shettar lit the lamp signifying the importance of light that dispels the darkness of ignorance.

The badging ceremony commenced with the cabinet leaders taking the oath followed by Sr. Rosevera and Sr. Ida Barboza doing the honours of conferring the leadership duties on the candidates.

Tanusha S Shettar took the oath as the Head Girl, Suraksha as Sports Minister, Amanda Abreo – Shanthi Squad leader, Merin Thomas- Neethi Squad leader, Prarthana S K – Preethi Squad leader and Lochana Shree – Jyothi Squad leader.

Sr. Clare, the School Administrator congratulated the cabinet leaders , appreciated the teachers and students for putting up the program and advised the students leaders to maintain their loyalty to the school.

A captivating story on “Who is the Leader “was narrated by Tanya and Ashritha Hegde. An interesting ppt on “School Pupil Leaders of yesteryears” was presented. Mrs. Soujanya M S, lawyer by profession and activist by hobby along with Mrs. Priyadarshini , an Architect conveyed their motivating message to the Juniors.
Sr. Rosevera, our Principal thanked the seniors Mrs. Soujanya and Mrs. Priyadarshini for their lovely message and reiterated the importance of following the rules and regulations and honouring the school motto of love and duty.

The day came to an end with the School Song sung by Abiya, Sowmya, Andrea and Jeslin.

The program was compeered by Umme Saara. The program was planned and coordinated by Mrs. Evangeline and Mrs. Jaysheela. Mrs. Smitha trained the students in taking the oath. The entire program was compiled , edited and hosted on You tube by Mrs. Jaysheela.
