Hindi Diwas is celebrated every year on 14th September. To mark this occasion, we at Mary Immaculate School celebrated Hindi Diwas with great zeal and enthusiasm on 11th September.

The programme began invoking God's blessings followed by a variety of cultural programmes spreading the message "Hindi hamari Shaan hain; Desh ka Abhiman hain" and emphasised that we should be proud of our Hindi language and should learn to speak in public domain without any hesitation.

Language plays a very vital role in connecting the people to their cultural roots and thus should be propagated.

The beautiful programme of the day was successful in promoting the use of Hindi language and in spreading awareness about its rich history and cultural significance.

Our Principal, Sr. Rosevera congratulated and appreciated the teachers of the Hindi Department for their thought provoking and well-planned execution of the programme. Sister in her message encouraged the students to learn to read and write Hindi along with other languages.

Students Abreeshmina and Yusra of std 9 anchored the programme while Tanzila of std 5 spoke about the significance of the day.
