The students, staff and management bid adieu to the outgoing students of Std 10 2023-24 at a solemn Valedictory Ceremony. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce joyous moments.
A prayer dance invoking God’s blessing was followed by lighting of the lamp ceremony. Mrs. Ramya welcomed the august gathering.
Kavana Gowda and Suha Khan got nostalgic with their beautiful time spent in the portals of MIS. The Chief Guest of the day Rev Fr Edward Rodrigues S. J, principal Loyola College English Medium High School in his message appreciated and congratulated the management and staff for the wonderful execution of the programme and discipline. Father reiterated the importance of upholding family values and to lead a happy and contended life rooted on the principles of honesty and integrity.
Sr. Rosevera, our principal in her message instructed the students to follow the path of righteousness, holding tightly the virtues imbibed in MIS.
Sr. Celine Vera, the joint secretary of Mary Immaculate Institutions led the audience to a prayer of blessings for the outgoing students which was followed by a blessing song by the school choir.
Students were presented mementos and 22 students were honoured with special awards to felicitate their contribution to the school in various fields.
The outgoing batch took the centre stage when they pleaded to live their lives as a candle illuminating the lives of others by following the school motto of love and duty following which they sang the school anthem.
Mrs. Vinitha was the emcee for the programme and the vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Roshiny. The programme ended with a high tea.
