To enable students to be routed to social issues and to instill social responsibilities, the students of Std 10 along with their class teachers and vice principal Sr. Vinitha paid a visit to an old age home run by the Little Sisters of Poor set up in Richmond Town.
The students interacted with the elderly and kept them on their toes with an entertainment programme. The inmates were overjoyed and blessed the students.
Students were shown the working of the laundry, kitchen, tailoring and were also taken to witness the care given to bed ridden patients.
It was an enriching experience for the students that made them realise the importance of love and respect in the lives of the elderly. They left the home with a sense of gratitude and respect for the residents and staff who take care of them.
