2022-23

26th January 2023 : Republic Day was celebrated in our school campus in all its solemnity and grandeur. The presence of the Lord Almighty was felt in the prayers led by the students of std 10. Sr. Rosevera, the principal, welcomed the august gathering and reminded the students of the proud lineage of the world's biggest democracy that we are blessed with and urged the students to abide by the Constitution.

The chief guest of the day Rev. Dr.(Fr.) Jose C.C.MI, Pro Vice Chancellor, Christ University, escorted by the Principal, Sr. Rosevera, Joint Secretary of Mary Immaculate Institutions, Sr. Celine Vera, Sr.Clare the School Administrator, the PTA Executive Members, and the PT teacher Mrs. Smitha hoisted the National Flag. As the tri-coloured flag fluttered gloriously, the National Anthem was sung with reverence and pride.
The different house colour squad: Jyothi, Preethi, Neethi and Shanthi representing success, passion, justice and peace marched in unison, paying homage to the National Flag.

The cultural program highlighted the Diversity of Indian culture and the beauty of Unity therein. A wonderful dance performance depicting the national symbols of India: peacock, lotus and tiger along with the folk dance and classical dance enthralled the audience. A skit on the importance of Right to Education was an eye opener.

The chief guest, Rev. Fr. Jose congratulated the management, staff and students for the wonderful performance and discipline. He instructed the students to accept challenges and never to be discouraged by defeats but to rise and march ahead.
The emcee for the program were Harshita S and Zaneera of std 9. Vote of thanks was proposed by Sheza Kauser of std 9.

The program left an aura of patriotism in the hearts of many.
