Onam, the biggest and most important harvest festival of Kerala is celebrated with joy and enthusiasm every year all over the state by people of all communities irrespective of caste, religion or gender.
Onam was celebrated first time in the MIS campus on 7th September amidst much fanfare by the students and staff. The celebration stated with setting up an attractive floral decoration in the auditorium. The cultural program began by enacting the life of Mahabali and his sacrifice to the mankind. This was followed by Thiruvathira and Onampattu by the students and teachers.
The program ended by invoking God’s blessing on our country so that we may prosper with a good harvest.
