Fit India School week 2020

 We at Mary Immaculate School, celebrated “Fit India School Week 2020”, an initiative by the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, from 14th December to 19th December 2020 under the tutelage of our physical education teacher, Mrs. Smitha. Students of Std 7 were involved in a session of yoga and aerobics, students of Std 8 were made to do yoga, aerobics and dumbbell exercises , students of Std 9 and 10 enjoyed themselves in yoga and aerobics. Students of Std 9 made posters on “Hum fit tho India fit” and “New India , fit India” whereas students of Std 10 wrote essay on “Fitness beats pandemic”. A certificate of recognition was given to the school, the teacher and the participating students by the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
